How is everyone? The Lord is good, really good, exceptionally good, now that is a Truth above all other truths! I haven't blogged for quite a while! Quite a lot been going on. Nevertheless I hope to keep a bit more up to date, the Lord willing!

What do I think of Daddy?
He's bigger than me, cleverer, wiser than me, yet gentler and more loving than me. I don't understand Him except what I know of Him through His Word. I know He loves me because I am His child, and like any father, He loves His own. I know He's my Father and I'm His child because John 1:12 tells me that's my position with Him. Because I put my faith in Jesus, He gave me the right to become His child.
The Creator of the Universe is my Father, my Brother and my friend. I stand in this position by faith alone. I've done nothing to merit this position. All I've done is accept the free gift that's offered as it's mentioned in Romans 5:15. I know my Father is good, because Psalm 145:9 says so, but without being regenerated I would still be spiritually dead. Now I'm born again Jesus lives His life through me, as much as I let Him. You see God my Father's plan for me is for me to become a little bit more like His son Jesus each and every day, but that can't be done by me having anything to do with it. It works like this; I was no good for anything before regeneration, so my Father's plan was for me to be included in His Son's death at Calvary, which means that the 'old me' is actually dead, but as Jesus was resurrected I too was resurrected unto new life.
I now have a battle, daily fought, in which it's God's Way or mine. You see the battle is in the mind, which still has it's old way of thinking and has to be 'renewed'. There's a lot more to it, but like Paul the Apostle, I say, 'I have been crucified with Christ, and it's no longer I that live, but Christ living in me; and that life which I now live in the flesh, I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself up for me'.

It's a broad road to the next revival; the next wave will take you there if the last one didn't .... but then again, don't count on it 'cos many have been makin' claims that have come to nought; many will follow their destructive ways ...... even now there has arisen many antichrists... hang about, what am I doing, some will complain; actual Scriptures are not popular nowadays! Anyway, what was I talkin' about before I so rudely interrupted myself? Oh! Yeh! I was talkin' about the so called leaders of the Body of Christ; the self appointed Doctors, Bishops and those with just a loud voice or good personality or plain ole deceitful tongue! For many deceivers are gone forth into the world ..... hang about ....... I'm doin' it again! No Scriptures allowed or I'll get called a legalist by the legalists! Who wants to make a name for themselves along with a few million quid thrown in? Get yourself at least half a dozen personal angels, a God type TV show willin' to support you (don't worry, they don't ask questions), and a mistress ....... for there are many unruly men, vain talkers and deceivers ....... oops! there I go again, ah! Well it don't matter 'cos the ones I'm talking about wouldn't recognise a quote from the Bible as much as a quote from Shack.

A Fence Full Of Second Rate Leaders!
The world's going into recession? The church has been in one for quite a few years already! Both are lacking good leadership; plenty of leaders willing to sit on the fence, and plenty who practice a lack of discernment to the point of becoming very adept at it, but alas, no decent, strong, trustworthy leaders! Where's the Lech Walesa's of the church? By the way, he was the son of a carpenter, just like me!

The only way!
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried (Ps 18:30)
Would that be hinting that the word of the Lord is the way of the Lord? If it is, then that would mean the way of the Lord is the word of the Lord which is Jesus, so if we are to follow after Him, then we follow after the Word, and in so doing we will be close to the Truth for He is the Truth, and all this should keep us on the right path, safe and sure as to where we are going!

The Pulpit of Fools!
We reap wot we sow, an' don't ya know
it cud be too late to change wen fate deals your hand
an' you find u can't stand, 'cos wot u shoulda done ya didn't,
an' it isn't 'cos of anyone else but you alone,
you shoulda known better an'
now even bein' a go getter won't help,
it shoulda been done way back wen someone mentioned 'faithfulness'....
it shoulda been done then.....
John 1:1 tells u Jesus is was an' always will be.... the Word;
the Word of God, the very thing that should be exalted even above His name.
Now, if you are in the middle o' deception, an' wantin' out, God will use one thing to deliver you,
which forever remains the same;
His Word, the Word of Truth; this is the Way God would....
if you should choose to desire it.... Deliver u.
Should u choose to carry on, without the only One who can help you,
so be it, yet believe it to be true;
if we, said Paul the Apostle, or even an 'angel'..... should preach to you 'another gospel'
let him be 'accursed', in fact, if 'any' man preach any other gospel to you let him be 'accursed'.
Now durst I say, lest someone say 'we already know that',
the teachings of Paul and the Apostles, are the gospel laid down and taught
as the only true gospel we oughta accept;
this is probably 'cos their teachings are the only foundation God uses
to change those who choose to be like Jesus;
it can keep us free from deception; an' with affection we should look on their teachings
for their teachings are to lead us!
Anythin' that contradicts the New Testament contradicts the Apostles and God Himself.....
in fact any other teaching is..... no gospel at all.
Any other teachin' is gonna lead you to another god,
I'm not coddin' ya.......the same Paul warns an' calls out,
that in these last days there's not gonna be new ways to get close to God,
no glory clouds........ rain goin' up an' glory comin' down;
no takin' the Holy Spirit in a matchbox back to ya church across town or
thousands o' miles away.... nay; wot Paul warns us about, is 'doctrines of demons', an' a 'great' fallin' away!
So don't lose your mind, look for the signs; look for
the 'many' who will fall away,
the few who are chosen,
then the ones who say...... (contrary to the Word), "this is the revival prophesied,"
these are the wolves that have lied,
leadin' many astray so this I say;
seek the ancient paths, the Way which is the Word,
not the way you've heard from the self-appointed Doctors an' Apostles,
those with the gnosis, the diagnosis guaranteed to deceive!
The Word of God is to be trusted, not the word of man!
If you love Jesus, then stay true to Him;
if you love Jesus, then believe and accept that He's the Word,
an' as best you can....... stay faithful to Him....
if you are deceived now, by easy to detect lies,
how will you cope when the antichrist shows up?
he is a solver of riddles an' wiser than most,
therefore you will be like putty in his hand
if you stand only on wot you've heard from the pulpit of fools!

How well do you know the real God?
I find it incredible (apart from it being a delusion sent by God Himself) that anyone could believe the spirit at Lakeland to be the Holy Spirit, or the god worshipped, the real and true God. Many are called but few are chosen!
God TV comes into it's own as part of the great fallin' away predicted as the love of many grows cold. If I turn away from the Word I turn away from Jesus. When the Word warns me to stay sober in these last days and I get myself 'drunk' I am disobeying Jesus. When the Word warns me against listening to 'another' gospel but I do, then I am not listening to Jesus. When the Word warns me against giving heed to 'doctrines of demons' but I embrace them, then I don't know Jesus! I love Jesus as much as I love His Word; I love Jesus when I obey His Word. If I go after the 'fire' when the Word tells me those who do will need rescuing from it then I am not understanding Jesus!

The Word only!
Why am I so surprised at what's happening in the Body of Christ? Our so called shepherds have failed to take adequate measures to keep out the wolves ....... in fact in most cases they put out a welcome mat. Instead of protecting the sheep put into their care ...... they fed them to the wolves! Where are the shepherds 'after God's heart' 'cos I ain't seen 'em? The 'love' of many will grow cold; I believe that's talkin' about our love of the Word. The strange thing is, that those who's love for the Word of Truth has grown cold in favour of 'signs and wonders' still profess a 'love' of Jesus, not realising that Jesus is the Word/Truth and not some external spirit you can get close to by ignoring the Word/Truth in favour of 6 hours 'soaking' on your back crying out for power, power, and more power! Richard Wurmbrand when asked what the Underground Church most needed, didn't ask for signs and wonders or power or Glory ......... he asked for bibles, bibles, and more bibles, relating that people were getting saved by and through the Word only!

Amazing!
So many brethren who can't make out the wolves from the sheep, not realising that the only way to recognise either one is through the Truth. How can I know 'another gospel' if I'm not that familiar with the 'real' one? How can I be sure that someone's doctrine is 'error' unless I am familiar with true doctrine and have learnt to discern evil from good? How can I recognise 'another spirit' unless I know the real Spirit? All deception, falsehood and lies are down to ignorance of the Truth and with some, that ignorance is due to 'negligence' and with others it's 'deliberate' and intentional. Let's make sure that we are are seen to be 'lovers of the Truth' by the One that matters!

Staying close!
Never mind us saying we love Jesus; we love Him as much as we love and obey His Word. No use us pleading for more of Jesus at the same time as we ignore and neglect His Word. In these perilous times we are going to have to stay close to the Truth more than ever before!

What to do!
If under the O.T. we would have been called on to dwell and meditate on the Law, as David did, what should we be doing that's the equivalent in the N.T. ? To hopefully find out, I would venture to suggest that the answer lies in the reason David dwelt and meditated on the Law day and night, then look for the equivalent for us who are under the N.T. Anyone any ideas?
As a believer!
As a believer, should I not be looking to Jesus at every turn, every important decision I make? Should I be following my fleshly instincts, or looking to go the Way of the Spirit? The answer I know, is self-evident, yet not so easy to adhere to and apply in a consistent every day way! I can say there are too many distractions; I can say it's not all my fault considering there are other people who sometimes make decisions for me, or on my behalf; and I can always say I'm doing my best in the circumstances! But in the end analysis, is there any excuse for not doing what I know is right to do? In the end, should it not be enough that my conscience declares me guilty of negligence?
